3. Buns & Buns

If Asian food’s your thing, you’re sure to enjoy your meal at the vibrant Buns & Buns diner. Located in Covent Garden’s Market Building, this venue offers superb outdoor dining and features an open-plan kitchen area. As its name suggests, menu items at Buns & Buns feature a variety of speciality bread. From bao buns to Pala Romana, an Italian-style pizza bread, these steamed rolls are particularly delicious. Specialities include Mushroom Bun, with Shitake, Shimeji and Oyster mushrooms, priced at £15. Main course dishes include Green Chicken Curry and Tenderloin Black Pepper Beef. Bespoke beverages include Yuzu Margaritas and Lychee Martinis – something a little different to sip alongside your brunch.

4. Balthazar Restaurant

Diners looking for entertainment throughout their brunch will be sure to enjoy the live jazz sessions from 12 noon until 3 pm at Balthazar Restaurant. This stylish French brasserie serves brunch at weekends, with specialities including steak and eggs with pommes frites and oak smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. 5. Le Bab

Maison Bab is the perfect brunch option if you enjoy gourmet kebabs and mezze. Restaurant specialities include The Legendary Paneer Kebab, priced at £11.50, Spice Roast Aubergine Sabiche, and Turkish Korean Fried Chicken, priced from £7.95. Order a side of hot fondue sauce to complete any kebab meal and experience heaven! A variety of cocktails, wines, gins and soft drinks are featured on the drinks menu.

6. Brasserie Max

If you’re seeking an inclusive brunch deal, you won’t go far wrong with Brasserie Max. Weekend brunch is served from 11 am to 1 pm and costs £19.50 per person. The brunch deal includes a Bellini or Bloody Mary per diner. Menu items include smoked salmon and scrambled egg with sourdough toast and Bubble and Squeak, fried duck egg and green sauce. A variety of sides are also available priced at £5 each.

7. 26 Grains

26 Grains is a walk-in restaurant only and has a fantastic atmosphere. Menu specialities include porridge, with a variety of tasty flavours, and Turkish fried eggs. The restaurant opens at 9 am and can get extremely busy, so it’s a good idea to arrive early. Beverages include delicious lemon and ginger cordial.

8. Lowlander Grand Café

The Lowlander Grand Cafe is a Belgian restaurant situated on Drury Lane at the edge of Covent Garden. The Brasserie serves a variety of tasty Belgian treats, including homemade cheese croquettes, Lowlander Sharing Mezze, and moules with mushrooms, leeks, and fresh herbs. Round off your brunch with a truffle torte or apple tart tatin to satisfy your sweet tooth. Wines and cocktails are on the beverage menu, but the Lowlander specialise in delicious draught beers and lagers. 

9. Côte Convent Garden

Menu selections include Viennoiserie croissants and Danish, and speciality eggs, including Eggs Benedict and Eggs Arlington. Kedgeree and a Full English breakfast are also on the menu, with the restaurant’s signature Severn and Wye smoked salmon considered to be an excellent brunch choice. Beverages include a range of fruit juices and smoothies, alongside tea or coffee. Vegetarian and vegan options are featured on the menu.
