Camden Guide

If you want to while the day away in North London, look no further than Camden. This hip yet historic area is ideal if you love music, food and fashion – particularly if your tastes run somewhat alternative, or if you love discovering places off the beaten path.

Most people already know about Camden Market: an incredible hub of street food and drinks, handmade clothes and accessories, vinyl records and music paraphernalia, and vintage stalls with items you literally won’t find anywhere else. But even beyond the market, there’s so much in Camden that you’ll never run out of things to do! Have a picnic on Primrose Hill, visit the dynamic Camden Art Centre, or take in a show at Roundhouse or Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.

That’s not even to mention all the superb restaurants, bars, pubs and coffee shops you’ll find in Camden! Next time you’re at a loose end, grab the Northern line up to Camden Station and see what’s happening – and if you’re not sure where to start, check out the posts below in this Camden Guide for our top recommendations.
