1. Norma Fitzrovia

Norma Fitzrovia is a vibrant modern restaurant that focuses on cuisine from Sicily and Moorish regions. With its emphasis on Italian hospitality and characterful decor, this is a fantastic place to enjoy a delicious brunch. The menu includes mouth-watering dishes such as slow-cooked venison ragu or robata-grilled fish. There’s also a lengthy dessert menu to choose from with light Sicilian flavours. Norma is open from midday, Monday to Saturday for brunch.

2. Italia Uno

This cafe focuses on simplicity and serving delightfully fresh Italian creations. Known by locals for its friendly atmosphere and generous portions, you’ll often find a queue. This is a testament to the wonderful food on offer, including fresh Italian sandwiches, pasta, and other deli treats. Be sure to get there early if you want a seat though as they have limited seating. Italia Uno is open from 9.30 am to 10 pm daily.

3. Fugazzina Fitzrovia

Fugazzina is all about the Italian experience with a sense of style and real dining. The restaurant offers modern Italian cuisine in a sleek and minimalist atmosphere. All their pasta is made on-site, and they also offer speciality baked goods, including pastries, cakes, biscotti and more. Their menu includes pasta, pizza, risotto and delicious antipasti including carpaccio and more. They also offer a tempting range of aperitifs to get you in the mood for your delicious meal. Fugazzina is open from 9 am on Tuesday to Friday, and 10 am on Saturdays.

4. Al Dente, Goodge Street

Al Dente knows just how to cook their pasta: al dente and with a wide range of classic and regional sauces. Don’t let the modern interior distract you, this establishment focuses on traditional Italian flavours, and all the pasta is made on-site. Their menu includes everything from lasagne to ragu and gnocchi. There are specials to choose from, plus gluten-free options and a range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Al Dente is open from midday on Saturday and 11:30 am on weekdays. It’s walk-ins only in daytime hours on weekdays, so get there early!

5. Cin Cin Fitzrovia

Cin Cin is designed to be a tranquil and relaxing restaurant where you can eat and watch the world go by while enjoying seasonal Italian dishes. Their lunch menu has plenty to choose from, including delicate starters and hearty mains. Be sure to investigate their delicious dessert range as well. Or, from 3 pm, you can enjoy small plate meals. Cin Cin opens every Tuesday to Saturday from midday, and it’s best to book ahead to ensure you get a table.
