“Renowned London-based chef Larry Jayasekara has realized his long-standing dream of owning a restaurant, much to the delight of the culinary community. With a background including prestigious establishments like The Waterside Inn, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saison, and Gordon Ramsay’s Pétrus, where he served as head chef, Jayasekara now joins forces with esteemed art collector and gallerist Tim Jefferies to bring The Cocochine to life in Mayfair.

Situated at 27 Bruton Place, The Cocochine spans four floors, offering an intimate dining experience on the ground level and a wine cellar in the basement. For exclusive events, the top floor features a secret dining room adorned with high-end artworks and a luxurious ambiance.

With a focus on modern European cuisine, The Cocochine’s menu showcases innovative dishes like cauliflower marinated in soy sauce and lobster barbecued in banana leaf with yuzu gel. Highlights include Jerusalem artichokes with roasted chicken fat and truffle bao. Operating separate lunch and dinner shifts, the restaurant boasts a spacious kitchen equipped with state-of-the-art amenities like temperature-controlled bread cabinets and dry-aging units for meat and fish.”
